Collection: Julia Tomesko

Julia Tomesko is a contemporary painter originally from Ukraine, currently active in Slovakia. She studied Fine and Decorative Arts at Oles Honchar Dnipro National University and also attended the Academy of Realistic Art. Her artistic style is rooted in realism, with a focus on still life, landscape, and portrait genres. Her paintings are known for their vibrant energy and emotional warmth, often described as carrying a magical energy that brings light and positivity to viewers.

She has participated in numerous exhibitions and plein-air events across Slovakia and Ukraine. Her work has been shown in venues such as Stary Biskupsky Hostinec in Nitra, Artformacie in Púchov, and Umením pre Ukrajinu in Poprad. She has held personal exhibitions at Kupele Nimnica and the Borispol State Historical Museum, and her paintings have been displayed at the National Bank of Ukraine and the National Library of Ukraine. Her work has also been featured in publications such as Great Ukraine. 100 Years of Statehood, and she regularly exhibits at the Globus Gallery.
