Collection: Miroslav Živković

Miroslav Živković, MA (born 1972), graduated in 1996 from the Faculty of Arts in Priština, where he also completed his postgraduate studies in 1998. Since 2010, he has been working at the Faculty of Arts in Niš as a Full Professor, teaching Drawing and Painting.

He has held 67 solo exhibitions and has participated in more than 300 group exhibitions in Serbia and abroad. He is the recipient of several awards for painting and has taken part in more than 69 art colonies in the country and internationally. He is the founder of the Divljana Art Colony in Bela Palanka.

As a collaborator of the National Museum in Niš, working with the team of Professor Franc Curk and Mile Simić, he was involved in the conservation of movable cultural monuments at the Hilandar Monastery from 1993 to 2002, participating in 15 campaigns lasting one month each. Between 1992 and 1999, as an associate of the Provincial Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments, he worked on the conservation and restoration of icons and fresco paintings in several monasteries in Kosovo and Metohija.

He is a collaborator of the National Library in Bela Palanka and a member of the editorial board of the Bela Palanka Collection.
