Slavoljub Slava Radivojević (born in Šabac, 1957) is a Serbian academic painter known for his poetic realism, intimate nostalgia, and masterful portraiture. He lives and works in Belgrade, from where he travels and exhibits internationally.
Radivojević has held numerous solo and group exhibitions across Europe and beyond, including in Paris, Vienna, Stockholm, Frankfurt, Basel, São Paulo, and Toronto. His works have been featured in prestigious galleries in Sweden, Austria, and the Netherlands. He is the recipient of several awards, including the Grand Prix at the International Biennale in Veliko Gradište and the First Prize at the “Portrait Through Time” exhibition in Belgrade.
His style blends figurative painting with poetic and metaphysical elements, often portraying everyday scenes, portraits, and architectural motifs with emotional depth and tonal warmth. He is especially recognized for his portraits, which capture the psychological and emotional essence of his subjects.
Radivojević also painted the interior and iconostasis of the Church of the Holy Trinity in Novi Ledinci (600 m²), showcasing his skill in monumental religious art. He is an active participant in the Serbian and international art scene through exhibitions, lectures, and art colonies.
His work is deeply rooted in traditional values and aesthetics, often reflecting themes of memory, melancholy, and the search for beauty in the ordinary. He describes his art as a form of visual poetry, aiming to preserve the emotional and spiritual essence of life.
