Collection: Igor Gennadyevich Mashkov
Igor Gennadyevich Mashkov (b. January 7, 1967, Moscow) is a Russian painter known for his epic landscapes and historical compositions. He studied at the Moscow Art School and later completed a portrait workshop, although his artistic focus shifted toward Russian landscapes and historical themes. Mashkov’s work is deeply rooted in the traditions of Russian realism, often portraying the grandeur and spiritual depth of the Russian countryside.
He has held solo exhibitions at the Central House of Artists in Moscow (1998 and 2000), and his paintings are part of numerous private collections in Russia and abroad. Mashkov is recognized as an Honored Artist of the Russian Federation and an Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts. His retrospective exhibition The Link of Times featured over 100 works and was hosted by the Russian Academy of Arts.
Mashkov continues to live and work in Moscow, contributing to the preservation and evolution of Russian artistic heritage.
