Collection: Ivan Milenković

Ivan Milenković, born in 1988 in Serbia, is a contemporary painter known for his socially engaged artworks that explore the relationship between humans and technology. He holds a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of Arts in Belgrade, specializing in painting.

Milenković has held over thirteen solo exhibitions and participated in more than eighty group exhibitions. His work is characterized by the use of classical painting techniques, particularly chiaroscuro—the dramatic contrast of light and dark—which he applies to modern themes. His paintings often depict people illuminated only by the glow of digital devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops, emphasizing the solitude and emotional disconnect that can result from hyper-communication.

Inspired by Baroque art and everyday life, Milenković’s compositions blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary relevance. He believes in the importance of daily studio practice, continuity in exhibiting, and learning from experienced artists.
