Ljubisav Milunović

Ljubisav Milunović, born on September 5, 1948, in Ljubava near Kruševac, Serbia, is a Serbian painter and scenographer known for his distinctive style rooted in magical realism. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade and completed his postgraduate studies in 1978 under Professor Mladen Srbinović.

Milunović’s work is characterized by surreal, allegorical landscapes and satirical references to art history, blending imagination with painterly precision. His paintings often depict dreamlike scenes populated by symbolic figures and layered narratives, reflecting both personal and cultural themes.

He lives and works in Belgrade, where he continues to create and exhibit his art.
