Suzana Dželatović is a contemporary Serbian painter, born on May 30, 1989, in Ćuprija, Serbia. She completed her undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Philology and Arts in Kragujevac, majoring in mural painting, earning her degree as a graduate applied artist in 2012. She then completed her master’s studies in painting in 2014 at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade. She has been a member of the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia (ULUS) since 2015 and works professionally as a freelance artist.
Suzana’s art is characterized by oil on canvas and figurative, expressive works, often exploring themes of human relationships, introspection, psyche, and emotional states. She has held multiple solo exhibitions (e.g., “Drawings,” “Relationships,” “Eros,” “Rainbow in the Black Sky”) and participated in over 50 group exhibitions, festivals, and art projects in Serbia and abroad.
Her work is recognized for its intimate and introspective atmosphere, where the figurative and psychological dynamics of her subjects are emphasized, and for exploring humans in social and existential contexts.
